INTRODUCING THE MIDHURST GREEN VOLUNTEERS BOARD OF TRUSTEES:
Joan moved to Sussex in 1995 and was the Clerk to the Midhurst Town Council from 1996 until July 2015. Since then she has volunteered at the Midhurst Museum and is Chairman of the Grange Community Association. Joan is married with three adult children and two grand-daughters.
Alain is a partner in Goodale Mardle, the local accounting and taxation practice. He is a Trustee at the Friends of Midhurst Cottage Hospital, a Trustee at the Midhurst Community Bus, Treasurer to the Midhurst Museum and a former Trustee at the Grange Community Association. Alain lives in Midhurst and has two children.
Dee has lived locally for almost 10 years and is one of our original volunteers. She has owned and run shops in Rustington and Chichester, has managed a small team of horses and has also been a real estate negotiator. She has been a domestic engineer for decades.
Graham was born and educated in New Zealand and holds degrees in several fields. He had a successful business career where he was Chairman of a number of public listed and private companies as well as executive Directors of a number of others. Graham retired at the age of 51. Since then he has spent time working for numerous local organisations including the Midhurst Community Bus, local sports clubs and a number of other charities particularly in Graffham when he lived in the village. He remains a volunteer at the Midhurst Museum and a Trustee at the Grange Community Association.
